Where do used crayons end up? Last week in Las Vegas, Greyson Technologies Inc. and Cisco discovered the inspiring answer through our partnership with The Crayon Initiative.
The mission was simple yet profound: bring joy to hospitalized children. Kids in medical facilities are just like children everywhere—they want to be happy and play. We’re thrilled to help make that happen by providing them with essential tools for artistic expression.
Art therapy offers remarkable benefits for young patients, reducing heart rates, improving cognition, releasing endorphins, and alleviating stress during challenging hospital stays. The colorful crayons these children take home often represent the brightest memory of their time in treatment.
Our engineering team excelled during this meaningful event, sorting the most crayons among all participants. The experience provided not only a soothing release for our volunteers but also connected us to a cause greater than ourselves.
