1. What brought you to Greyson? Why did you want to work here?
To be honest, I discovered Greyson through my IT recruiter. Intrigued by the opportunity, I began to ask other trusted partners and contacts I worked with throughout the years about Greyson. During my inquiries, I heard nothing but positive remarks about Greyson, and Danny (Durrance)’s name would come up a lot. In the end, I decided to work at Greyson because of its amazing reputation in the IT community and the challenging opportunity.

2. What do you enjoy most about what you do?
What I enjoy most about my job is using technology to create solutions and the fact that no 2 days look the same. Each opportunity brings a unique challenge. One day I could be designing a new solution, the next I could be helping a new client with a network outage.

3. What led you to a career in IT?
For me, it started in High School. I was lucky enough to be a part of a new Cisco education program at the time. In that class, I learned how to use CLI and that’s where I configured my first Router.

4. Which of our core values resonates with you most and why? (Help First, Fun, Pride, Committed, Courage)

I would say it’s Help First. Just recently I had a client that was getting multiple network tickets a day. We came in, completed an assessment, put together a plan, and redesigned the network. More than a month after completing the project, I received a call from the client to thank me. The customer was delighted with the work, but most importantly, not a single network ticket had been created in the past month! Moments like these are what I enjoy most!

5. Who inspires you and why?
Jeremy Cioara inspired me to become a certified network engineer. His class showed me that even complex subjects like networking can be fun and times exciting.

6. What’s one thing not many people know about you?
I love watching Japanese anime and eating Ramen!

7. What do you enjoy doing most outside of the office?
Spending time with my family at the park riding bike or playing tennis.

8. If you could have dinner with anyone (past or present), who would you choose and why?
My grandfather, Sergio, I never had the opportunity to meet him.

9. What’s the best advice you’ve been given in your career?
Never give up!

10. And lastly, if you could only have the same meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pan con bistec!
